Gerald Petit, a 45-year-old man from Orlando, Florida, tragically lost his life on November 4, 2019. Gerald Petit, who was of Haitian descent, was shot near the Zion Hill Baptist Church on Columbia Street. The incident was captured on a church camera, which recorded his final moments as he fell after being shot. Friends and family gathered at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church to honor his memory, expressing their grief and disbelief over the senseless act of violence.
