Christopher David Landers, a 36-year-old male from Vernon, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 29, 2020. The incident occurred on Lazy Bone Drive in Vernon, where deputies responded to a call regarding a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite the immediate first aid administered by deputies and subsequent medical attention, Christopher Landers succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
