Kevin McCarthy, a 50-year-old white male, was found dead on March 28, 2021, at the Wekiva Falls Resort in Sorrento, Florida. His death was the result of a murder-suicide involving his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Nathan, a 56-year-old white female. The Lake County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at around 8:16 a.m., where they discovered McCarthy's body in a chair with gunshot wounds.
