Torence Simpson, a 47-year-old resident of Arcadia, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 21, 2021. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near SW Hendry Street and Seaboard Avenue. According to the DeSoto County Sheriff's Office, Simpson was shot multiple times. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, the identity of the shooter remains unknown. The authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward, offering a cash reward for tips that could lead to an arrest.
