Kent Rene Patterson Jr., a 16-year-old from Citra, Florida, tragically lost his life on August 6, 2022. The Marion County Sheriff's Office received a call about a shooting near the 4700 block of W Highway 318 in Citra at approximately 1:50 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found Kent Patterson Jr. with a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
