Virginia Ann Tobias Ohta, aged 43, tragically died on October 19, 1970, in Soquel, California. She was a victim of a horrific mass murder that also claimed the lives of her husband, Dr. Victor Ohta, their two sons, Derrick and Taggart, and Dr. Ohta's secretary, Dorothy Cadwallader. The bodies were discovered in the swimming pool of their home, bound and shot. The house was set on fire, and the scene was described as an execution-style killing.
