Field Supervisor Steven Laurence Armenta, aged 43, tragically lost his life on December 5, 1973, in Benicia, California. Armenta was engaged in an undercover operation aimed at purchasing cocaine as part of his duties with the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement. During the operation, after successfully making the purchase, Armenta and his fellow agents attempted to arrest the suspects involved.
