Khalid Al-Shaibani, a 27-year-old student at UC Davis, tragically lost his life on September 13, 1977, in his Orchard Park apartment. The incident was a result of a violent altercation with Saleh Al-Alem, another student from Jordan. The confrontation escalated to a fatal shooting, where Khalid was killed, and his wife Sundis was also shot while holding their baby. Fortunately, Sundis survived the attack.
