Death by Force

Victor Esparza, aged 34, was tragically killed on January 26, 1992, in San Mateo County, California. Esparza, who worked as a janitor at a shoe factory in San Carlos, was fatally shot during a robbery. The perpetrator, Celeste Carrington, was a former janitor who had been fired from her job in December 1991 for stealing checks. Carrington admitted to the murder of Esparza, as well as another victim, Caroline Gleason, who was killed in a separate incident two months later.
