John L. Daniels Jr., a 36-year-old tow truck driver from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on July 1, 1992. The incident occurred at a service station located at Florence Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard, a few miles west of the area heavily impacted by the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
