Shu Ming Tang, a shop owner in San Carlos, California, was tragically killed on April 26, 1993. Tang, who had immigrated to California from Taiwan, was shot once in the chest while tending to his store, the Devonshire Little Store. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the incident. The initial investigation suggested that the shooting occurred during a robbery gone wrong.
