Miguel Diaz Duran Jr., a 25-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2000, in Huntington Park, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Miguel was shot and killed on that fateful day. The incident occurred during a celebration of a Lakers victory, where Miguel was reportedly throwing up gang signs.
