On March 5, 2001, a tragic event unfolded at Santana High School in Santee, California, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Brian Zuckor. Brian was one of the victims of a school shooting carried out by his classmate, Charles Andrew "Andy" Williams. The incident occurred at approximately 9:05 a.m. when Williams, then 15 years old, opened fire on his fellow students.
