On January 21, 2003, 17-year-old Christopher Brandon Vigil was tragically killed in a shooting incident in the unincorporated area of El Cajon, California. The incident occurred early in the morning, just before 6 a.m., when deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Substation responded to reports of gunshots in the 2100 block of Willow Glen Drive.
