Benjamin Velasco, an 18-year-old from Paramount, California, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2007, in a violent incident that also claimed the life of 21-year-old Julio Ramirez. The two young men were attending a family gathering on the evening of July 28, 2007, when they were shot by gang members in a drive-by shooting.
