Andres De La Madrid, a 37-year-old Latino man, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2008, in Los Angeles, California. He was shot in the chest while driving his taxicab near 3453 Gleason Avenue in Boyle Heights around 8:15 p.m. that evening. Following the shooting, his cab crashed into a parked vehicle. Officers from the LAPD's Hollenbeck Division discovered De La Madrid inside his taxi and he was subsequently transported by ambulance to County-USC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a ...Read More
