Carlos Chavez Alvarado, a 31-year-old resident of Greenfield, California, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2009, in King City. Born on December 1, 1977, in Guanajuato, Mexico, Carlos had been living in Greenfield since 1993. On the evening of his death, Carlos was fatally shot outside a downtown King City pizza shop.
