Dontae Lamont Cotton, a 28-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on January 24, 2010. The incident occurred in the Harvard Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles, where Cotton was shot outside his home on the 1600 block of West 60th Place. According to reports, Cotton had left his house shortly after midnight to visit a nearby liquor store.
