Yong Hoon Yoo, also known as Kevin Yoo, was a 28-year-old man who tragically lost his life on June 7, 2010, in Koreatown, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Yoo was fatally shot in the 600 block of South Berendo Street. The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Olympic Division responded to the scene and found Yoo with gunshot wounds.
