Michael Velez, a 30-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on August 22, 2010, in Vincent, California. The incident occurred in the 5200 block of Banewell Avenue. Authorities received a call reporting gunshots around 6:15 p.m. When the police arrived, they found Anthony Hermosillo, a 27-year-old Latino, in his parked car with gunshot wounds.
