David Jerome Scott, a 31-year-old man from Compton, California, was tragically shot and killed on May 21, 2014. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of East Bennett Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, deputies responded to a call of a gunshot victim around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Scott and a 44-year-old man in the front yard of a home, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
