On a late summer evening in Baltimore, Maryland, the life of a young Black man, Joshua Bayne, was tragically cut short. On September 4, 2017, at approximately 10:20 p.m., the 24-year-old was fatally shot in the 1800 block of E. Lafayette Avenue. First responders arrived at the scene to find Bayne suffering from gunshot wounds.
