Richard "Buk" Bukowiecki, the Chief of Police at Cerritos College, tragically passed away on August 18, 2014, at the age of 47. His death was ruled a suicide by the Orange County Coroner's office. Bukowiecki was found in a Super 8 motel room located on Beach Boulevard in Westminster, California, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The discovery was made early in the morning, around 3:30 a.m., by a house cleaner who immediately notified the Westminster Police Department. The area around the mote ...
