Gloria Espinoza Tovar, a 59-year-old Latina, was tragically shot and killed on August 24, 2014, in San Fernando, California. She was sitting in her parked car on Filmore Street in Pacoima, waiting to pick up a friend for church, when she was shot in the head around 6:45 a.m. and died at the scene.
