Daniel Walsh, a 27-year-old resident of Huntington Beach, California, died on October 25, 2014, following an officer-involved shooting. The incident began when Huntington Beach police received reports of a man driving recklessly in a dark SUV, forcing other vehicles off the road. Officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, which led to a minor crash near Ernest Drive and Stewart Lane.
