Jermaine Lamar Burge, a 28-year-old resident of Athens, California, tragically lost his life on October 27, 2014. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Burge died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred while he was walking on a sidewalk, when a vehicle approached and an unknown assailant opened fire, striking him multiple times.
