Erik Sainz, a 17-year-old from West Puente Valley, California, was tragically shot and killed on December 19, 2014. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Millbury Avenue, where Sainz was standing in the driveway of a home with several others. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, two individuals approached the group, and one of them opened fire, hitting Sainz in the upper torso.
