Ryan Thomas Sniffin, a 20-year-old resident of Joshua Tree, California, tragically lost his life on January 30, 2015, in La Quinta. The incident occurred during a botched drug deal in the Cove neighborhood of La Quinta. According to court records, Sniffin was attempting to purchase an ounce of cocaine when he was fatally shot.
