Anthony Jenkins, a 17-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland, was fatally shot on October 29, 2017, in a tragic act of violence that added to the city’s high homicide rate. He was found in the 900 block of North Carey Street, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the arrival of first responders, Jenkins succumbed to his injuries, marking him as one of the many young lives lost in Baltimore’s wave of violence that year.
