On July 13, 2015, Steven Line Sr. was tragically killed in Mad River, California. The incident occurred in the afternoon around 4:30 PM when the Trinity County Sheriff's Dispatch Center received multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area of Lamb Creek Road. Responding officers found two male victims with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Steven Line Sr., was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
