Kito Fields, age 39, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of April 21, 2016, in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. The shooting took place near Larkin and McAllister streets, close to the Asian Art Museum. Fields was found at approximately 2:00 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident marked the second homicide in the area during that particular week, contributing to growing concerns about violence in the neighborhood.
