Joey Luis Porras, a 22-year-old resident of Escondido, California, was tragically found dead on October 17, 2015. His body was discovered in his car on Ohio Avenue near Cedar Street around 7:40 a.m. by Escondido police officers responding to reports of an unconscious man in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found that Porras had been shot, and his death was immediately classified as a homicide.
