Jeremiah Owings, a 42-year-old man from Compton, California, was tragically shot and killed on July 21, 2016. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of South Willow Avenue, where Owings, a documented gang member, was socializing with members of his gang in the rear parking lot of an apartment complex.
