Salvador Noriega, a 34-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on October 8, 2016, after being shot on October 6, 2016, in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of Florence. Noriega was riding his bike around 1:15 a.m. when he was shot in the back and leg. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
