After a 10 to 15-minute chase, the officers lost sight of the car but later found it abandoned with both front doors open on East 74th Street near Wadsworth Avenue. The officers then saw two men running down a driveway and began chasing them.
Two 22-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with Noriega's death. However, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office declined to file charges against them due to insufficient evidence. Despite the arrests, the case remains open, and investigators continue to gather evidence.
