A man is killed while sitting in his home office
On December 23, 2003, 40-year-old Raymond "Butch" Weed, a well-known contractor in Wilton, Maine, was found dead in his home on Main Street. Two friends delivering Christmas gifts discovered his body around 7 p.m. He had been shot twice while sitting at his desk in his home office, and investigators believe the murder took place between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. that evening. Despite an extensive investigation, the case remains unsolved to this day.
