Armando Diego Guerra, a 40-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 9, 2017, in the 300 block of West 2nd Street in San Pedro, Los Angeles. According to police and Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Guerra was standing in the parking lot of the Rancho San Pedro Housing Project when a man approached him and opened fire with an assault rifle. The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Guerra was immediately transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
