Felipe Castrejon-Balanzar Jr., a 24-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on May 9, 2017. His body was discovered around 7:30 a.m. in an alley located in the 300 block of West 9th Street in San Pedro. The Los Angeles County coroner's records indicate that he was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:40 a.m. The police believe that Castrejon-Balanzar was shot in the early morning hours of that day.
