On the evening of July 21, 2017, 17-year-old Abraham Rubio was tragically shot and killed in Lamont, California. The incident occurred around 8:02 p.m. when deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 8100 block of Paradise Road following reports of a shooting.
