Junior Ismael Aceves, a 19-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2017, in the South Bay neighborhood of Lennox, near Inglewood, California. The incident occurred around 12:35 a.m. when Aceves was riding his bicycle on West 103rd Street near South Freeman Avenue, just a few blocks from his home. According to reports, a green four-door sedan with two men inside swerved into Aceves as he was riding near the sidewalk. The vehicle appeared to have been used as a weapon to attack him.
