Emily Courchesne, a 37-year-old resident of Danville, California, was found dead on October 4, 2017, in a home located in the 24000 block of Marsh Creek Road in Byron, California. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office responded to a medical call at the residence around 10:05 a.m. and later determined that Courchesne had died from a gunshot wound.
