On December 8, 2017, Sara Segura and her husband, Ramon Segura Rodriguez, were found dead in their home in Sanger, California. The tragic discovery was made by their adult son, who returned home from work to find his parents deceased. The Sanger Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the deaths. Early indications suggested that the incident was a murder-suicide, with Ramon believed to have shot Sara before turning the gun on himself.
