Brian Devlin Saling, age 60, was killed on June 14, 2016, in Oakland, California. Saling was found dead in an area near his residence, having suffered fatal injuries from blunt force trauma. The incident took place in a neighborhood that had seen a rise in violent crime, and Saling's death was part of a broader wave of homicides in Oakland during 2016, which recorded a total of 85 homicides that year. Investigators faced challenges due to a lack of direct witnesses, and the case remains unsolved, with local authorities still seeking public assistance for any leads.
