Juan Manuel Ceja, a 22-year-old resident of King City, California, was found dead on February 15, 2018. His body was discovered inside a parked vehicle at 450 Jayne Street around 6:35 a.m. The King City Police Department responded to reports of a possible gunshot victim and upon arrival, they found Ceja with a fatal gunshot wound. The Major Crimes Unit of the King City Police Department immediately launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
