Tristan Thomas Beaudette, a 35-year-old research scientist from Irvine, California, was tragically shot and killed on June 22, 2018, while camping with his two young daughters at Malibu Creek State Park in Calabasas. Beaudette was inside his tent with his daughters, aged 2 and 4, when he was shot in the upper torso around 4:45 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 5 a.m. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Las Virgenes Road, a location known for its serene natural beauty ...
