Richard Allen Jefferson Sr., a 65-year-old resident of Compton, California, was tragically killed on September 19, 2018. Jefferson, the father of former NBA player Richard Jefferson, was fatally shot while standing on a sidewalk in the 600 block of West Peach Street in Compton. According to reports, Jefferson had driven to the P&G Market in Compton and parked near the store.
