Cristina Peña, a 26-year-old resident of Santa Paula, California, tragically lost her life on July 14, 2019. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of East Ventura Street, where authorities responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Peña unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. She was immediately transported to Ventura County Medical Center, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.
