On October 14, 2019, Mor Hang, an 81-year-old resident of Dorris, California, was tragically killed in a double homicide. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Pleasant Valley Highlands area, near the Oregon-California border. The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a possible robbery and shooting on Hilltop Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two women with gunshot wounds.
