Taron Raynell Rolison, a 45-year-old man, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Rolison was shot and killed near West 86th Place and South Broadway in the Broadway-Manchester area. The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. while Rolison was attending a gathering in a parking lot. A dispute broke out among the attendees, leading to gunfire.
Rolison was the only person injured in the shooting and was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1:56 p.m.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that approximately 50 people were present at the scene when the shooting occurred. Despite the large number of witnesses, the investigation faced challenges as people fled the scene in panic. Two vehicles were also damaged during the incident. The LAPD has urged anyone with information to come forward, offering anonymity through Crime Stoppers.
As of now, there have been no arrests or identified suspects in connection with Rolison's death. The investigation remains open, with detectives continuing to seek leads and gather evidence.
