Lavon Allen Wright Jr., a 43-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on November 5, 2019. The incident occurred around 12:50 p.m. in the 10300 block of South Compton Avenue in Watts. Wright was a passenger in a Jeep traveling south on South Compton Avenue when a silver sedan pulled up alongside the vehicle.
