William Joseph Lara, a 36-year-old resident of McFarland, California, tragically lost his life on January 10, 2020. The Kern County Sheriff's Office identified Lara as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on the evening of January 10th. According to reports, law enforcement received a call about shots being fired just before 7 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Lara suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
